Four short steps. IT already set everything up on the server for you.
1 Install Hermes Desktop
Use the official Mac app from Nous Research (one install per laptop).
Mac: open the installer, drag Hermes to Applications if asked, then open Hermes from Applications.
2 Connect to your personal agent
In Hermes go to Settings → Gateway → Connection mode → Remote gateway and paste this URL (it is unique to you):
Copied.
3 Sign in
When Hermes (or the browser) asks you to sign in, use the credentials IT gave you for your agent.
Pilot (you): username joe and the password from IT (stored only on the server, not in email forever). Later this becomes company SSO — no separate password.
4 Start chatting
Once connected, send a short message like “Hello — are you my company agent?”
Slack and Google Workspace “Connect” buttons will appear here after IT finishes those company apps. You will not need API keys.
